Donna Vohs was admitted to Windsor Medical Center after a fall and fracturing her femur. Donna is a very active person and her fall occurred while she was learning to play pickleball at the local YMCA. Due to her fracture, she had more difficulty with transfers and walking, she was weak, had balance defects, and could not perform ADL’s on her own. She participated in both physical and occupational therapy during her stay at Windsor.
With the help of physical and occupational therapy, Donna was able to improve her balance, ambulate without assistance, improve her strength, and complete ADL tasks on her own. Thanks to all her hard work, Donna was able to return home after 28 days of rehab so she can get back to the things she loves, like spending time with her family. We are very proud of Donna and all the progress she made.
